How Did You Find Your Stage Three?

Stage3

Hello There!

How were the Easter holidays? We hope you enjoyed what the PushCV Easter Bunny had for you - PushCV Ask? If you don’t know about that, you can check here.

By now, many of you should have successfully completed Stage 2 of the Elite Employee Quest, moving you up to stage 3. Good Job!

Stage 3 started officially yesterday, the 7th of April, 2015 and will end by MID-NIGHT on Saturday, the 11th of April 2015.

Stage 3 - Specialization test. What is this about?
Your specialization is that field in which you are skilled. For the purpose of this quest, you would have selected one out of five categories of specialization. As a specialist in a particular field, you have to be able to prove that you understand the core concepts of one of the 5 categories.

We have heard your views about the limitation of the 5 categories, but as this is the first of its kind, these 5 mainstream categories went first. In the Batch 2, more categories will be available.

If you have forgotten your password, go to pushcv.com/forgot. After you log in, you can change your password at pushcv.com/changepass

Remember to complete this stage ON or BEFORE SATURDAY, 11th April to avoid disqualification from this program.

Your Stage 2 certificate will be available for download on your PushCV dashboard once we have approved or rewritten your CV; in the mean time you can take the stage 3 tests.

Thank you for your patience with us.

If you have taken the stage 3 tests, we wonder, how did you find it? Easy? Hard? A breeze? We’d like to know. Or just use PushCV Ask to interact with the rest of the PushCV community.

But to everyone, Great job so far!

Best Wishes,

PushCV Elite Team.

Good afternoon, I have already done my stage 3. But for the next batch can you seperate IT/Engineering because some engineering people does not know about IT and there are questions on it and I found it difficult as chemical engineering graduate.

Very nice initiative. Fiinished my stage 3 about 9 hours ago at exactly 36mins: 23secs. Just tried to finish my questions accurately with the lowest possible time less than the specified time of 43mins to boost my score. Speed and accuracy is the secret. Though i found information Technology (I.T) a bit challenging though..z

After clicking the submit button, the time left was 52 minutes and some seconds, I was surprised to see a pop-up with a message “questions refreshed” and another set of 20 questions before me and the time counting down from 43 minutes. What went wrong?

I couldn’t find a Field that Statistics or Data Analysis fell in, so I prudently chose Management/Administration in Stage 3 Exam. Though we have Statistical Management/Operations Research in Statistics, but few of the questions were not related to my discipline(Statistics) at all. But thank God I attempted them. Is the diversion going to affect me in any way? Maybe the Interview or my field in stage 4? Thanks.

I have successfully completed my stage 3. I am a sales person but I observed that almost all the questions were marketing related as it was specified sales/marketing and clearly the 2 has different functions, objectives and roles. I think it should be separated in order to allow more focus on one’s jurisdiction/area of specialization. looking forward to my stage 4 and I hope this time it will be centered on core sales questions. thank you.

In my opinion, stage 3 was very restricting because many fields weren’t listed. In my case, I studied agriculture, but I didn’t see any field listed that was even remotely related to my expertise. Thus, it was more of a guessing game for me, based on preexisting knowledge and common sense. I believe people in my kind of situation should be given due consideration. Furthermore, PUSHCV should look into these loopholes so as to create a more accommodating system that is free and fair to all.

For the Batch One of the tests, we only had 5 categories available because those were the 5 most demanded. Be rest assured that Batch two will address all of these other categories

Am a graduate of Criminology and Security Studies and a Security specialist. My field of specialization was not listed among the five categories so i choose to go with Management/Administration. I had so many challenges attempting those questions but i did anyway and i believe some other people on the quest had a similar experince. Pls i want beg on the management of PUSHCV to to kindly look into this issue and consider even those that will not make the pass score for this singular reason so that all may proceed to the next stage. It is only justifiable when one is tested based on his field of specialization and did not perform than testing from a base the candidate has no knowledge of and did not perform.Thanks.
