Your gifts would either be direct or subtle pointers to your strengths. This would help to narrow your search or even assist in making the decision of taking that job offer. Your passions simply point out what you really care about, while your values are direct indicators of what motivates you and what gives you a sense of self worth. Combining all these factors together could give you an insight on the nature of career you should consider and how to go about it. This way, you do not end up applying for every and any job vacancy that shows up without considering how it applies to you. Most times people who take jobs they are not happy about end up feeling unfulfilled and miserable in a couple of weeks after taking the job, and  this takes them back to the drawing board to ask themselves this question all over again. That could be very frustrating.
